JOB TITLE:

 Snake Removal Field Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Hired Applicant will perform on-call removal of snakes from residential and business properties. You will also represent snakeremoval.com at functions and events designed to educate the public about the importance of snakes to our environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Applicant must possess the following skills:

1. A conservation-minded approach to snakes, we are a no-kill removal service
2. Innate Knowledge of the snakes in their vicinity, and proper methods of handling venomous species if present.
3. A 2 year (Preferably 5) history of correctly handling and identifying indigenous snake species.
4. Comfortable with speaking in public, capable of resolving issues calmly and quietly.
5. Ability to be contacted any time of day or night (Cell Phone, Pager, Etc..)
6. Reliable Transportation
7. Professional appearance and demeanor.
8. Pass a background check
9. While some equipment is provided, you should also have simple tools of the trade such as gloves, snake hooks/tongs and method of containing animals.
10. Internet Access and Basic Computer skills for entering data into call tracker.

PAY & BENEFITS:

  Pay will be discussed at time of hire. You will be hired as a 1099 employee. You will be responsible for all applicable taxes as they apply to your state and federal government.
